Welcome to The Wizard of POS — a site full with news and opinions about Point of Sale systems.

My name is Justin. The point of sale world has a lot in common with normal PCs, but there are some differences. Old hardware –black and white monitors– goes hand-in-hand with the latest technologies –RFID–, which makes it a very interesting niche market.

On this site I publish news about Point Of Sale (POS) hardware and software and everything related to it. If you work at a POS software or hardware company, please add us to your PR list ASAP. If you are releasing a product, email us a high-res image of the device or screen and a spec sheet at the very instant you launch. The press release and tips email is webmaster@pos-wizard.com. If you’re a super-secret spy in the house of POS, please send tips and rumors to the same address.

Please note that just because information is emailed to us doesn’t mean it will be written up — it depends on whether or not your product is a fit for The Wizard of POS, if it rocks our world sufficiently enough to share with readers, which way the planets are aligned and what our current posting schedule’s like.
