We use CPonline and they are a joke. Their software is basic at best and to integrate new features cost an arm and a leg and takes forever. They think they have you by the balls because you use counterpoint point of sale but I will be moving us away from these jokesters as soon as a viable option is available. They were charging us $3,500 a month in hosting fees! I started complaining and they set a $1,000 cap! They can't explain anything. It is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

The good things about the system is you have a lot of control of how your website looks, meta tags/descriptions, built in email marketing. Bad things: shipping module STINKS - for example, no way to program free shipping on orders over $100 unless you a certain table look up, but if you use this, it won't allow you to use oversize charges!

What I would consider basic functionality (for example if you have a gridded item that has color/size options, if you have a sold out size/color, the site will still show it as available unless you used a combined grid - I had to pay $2500 for "customization" to get it to only show available colors/sizes with separate grids. They didn't know what they were doing so once the "upgrade" happened (which they accidentally charged me for over a month before it was completed), I lost the ability to display different pictures for different colors! They wanted to charge me extra to fix it but I screamed and "out of the goodness of their hearts" fixed the problem (it took them almost a month to fix it and it was during the holiday season - great).

Last week, our website was down almost an entire business day costing me 1000's of dollars and then it went down again for over an hour (and acted buggy for the rest of day with lots of calls from customers that they couldn't check out) during prime selling time less than 10 days later . No offer to reduce our fees, just lip service...In addition their hosting fees are outrageous - the prices shown do not include a band usage fee. My website hosting fee is around $2500 a month! I have shopped the competitors and for the same band usage, they would charge $450 or less. Needless to say I'm seriously evaluating a switch.

The CPonline ecommerce system advertised includes only very basic functionality. Every extra functionality feature requires extra customization by the cponline development team and takes months to develop.
