PLEASE tell me there’s a way to import inventory & supplier data into OpenBravo POS from QuickBooks POS 8!

Typically, as long as you can export all of your data to Excel, then you can import it into another POS.
I’ve contacted the folks at Openbravo to double check with them.
I know right off hand that MerchantOS (www.merchantos.com), a web-based solution, can import from Quickbooks, and also has many vendor catalogs already in their system for you.
